Le Souverain was created to celebrate Château Ksara’s 150th anniversary. It’s popularity among Château Ksara range and every subsequent new decade is celebrated with a commemorative label.

WINEMAKING
After rigorous monitoring of the tannins and anthocyanins from the veraison onwards, the grapes are manually harvested, destemmed and vatted in thermo-regulated tanks followed by daily tastings and regular remontage (pump over). Following malolactic fermentation, the wine is then aged in new French oak for 24 months in our Roman cellars and then
AROMAS & FLAVORS
A dense deep purple hue with intense aromas of bouquet of dark wild berries, spice, licorice, fennel and carob.
PAIRING
Serve with game, red meat dishes in wine. It should be served at room temperature.
DRINKING WINDOW
Will reveal all its potential in three or four years or can be cellared for up to 30 years. Decant at least an hour before serving.
